Man, what a day! Summit of Oakes Peak in the North Cascades yesterday

I’m 31 now! To say it is has been a crazy year would be underselling it by a lot. I haven’t had a longer one in quite some time. But between a new place in Seattle, lots of friends, family, and finally getting a new job, I got a lot of reasons to be hopeful for this next one!

I’ve been auditing a grad-level topology class and it’s been a ton of fun! Nice to be in a school setting again with motivated people, and it’s really cool subject matter

Abernathy Peak, Eastern Cascades are a totally different character! There’s a list called the Bulgers and I‘ll think I’ll make it my next project. Some peaks are easier walk ups, others I’ll have to climb rock and glacier with other folks. Abernathy along with the 5 volcanoes makes 6/100!

Made it to the top of King County, Mt Daniel! I honestly had no idea the county stretched so far east Sick day, sooooooo many pretty turquoise lakes up there

Glacier Peak! Definitely one of the best trips for me, such an interesting geologic area with the raw glacier/volcano terrain. Just super beautiful! Still my favorite place in the world
