I have said it before and will say it again, but: being able to see something and go "well that's none of my business" when it actually, truly is none of your business is a very important skill to cultivate.

Went to the Twins game Friday where they hosted the Nationals, so when we watch the playoffs in October I can continuously point to the TV and say “We saw that guy play in July!”

Never really got to meet him, but Ryno got to watch my son play second base on the same field where I dreamed of one day being Ryne Sandberg, a memory that always reminded me how baseball is timeless and legends live forever.

It boggles me how MLB Opening Day is not today, when both major college hoops tournaments hit pause, but three days later when everyone wants to dive back into their brackets. (That said, also boggling is trying to open in March anywhere but the south/domes.)
