It's a good thing Rin and I have decided we're staying inside tonight instead of going to the nearby softball field to buy concessions and watch the Fourth of July weekend fireworks, because we have a heat advisory in effect. 🥵

With help from @rinbeast.bsky.social and Zevarius, I'm starting to break out of my depression spell. I'm not quite 100% (I'm about 95%), but I'm getting there, slowly but surely. I really have no idea how or why I got depressed in the first place. It just.... happened. o.o

Is it better to keep your mouth shut and seem a fool, or to open your mouth and remove all doubt? It seems I'm always asking myself that question. x.x

Sometimes, I just wish it was easier to control my compulsions. Rin is already doing a fine job helping me, but I feel like I need help from others as well. o.o

Rin and I arrived safely at our destination, and Rin's sister's dog was very happy to see us. Like Rin said, the neighborhood kids are better behaved here. Even though it's gonna a scorcher, it's gonna be an awesome week... 💖

And so, Rin's and my first year as part of the Relay For Life of Second Life team has come to a close.... but our journey is just beginning. And Rin and I won't stop until cancer is eradicated. ❤️

On a totally different subject from my previous post.... After DJ Murdock's set, I went to check out a sim called Pride at Home, recommended to me by Ember and Nuku. I had been talking to Rin this morning about what it’s like to be autistic. As he shared his childhood/teenage experiences with me, I remember being in similar situations. Everyone at school knew I was a little different, but I remember that all the rich students embraced me instead of shunning me.

To celebrate the first anniversary of Rin's and my coming out, we put on our Tokushi fox avatars and the same pride dresses we wore last year, and had a little photo shoot inside a wedding tent at Home Sweet Home Mariland. We wanted Johan and Lisa in the picture, so we made banners for them to hold.

This is the Alesis SR-16, a drum machine that's been part of my music setup since July 2025. I use it for its drum sounds and as a drum sequencer for many of my covers and OC's. The SR-16 was first introduced in 1990 and is still being made. Photo was taken using a Fujifilm Finepix S1500 from 2009.
