fuck flow aura the hp bar is genuinely a game changer for tracking things in the middle of specials being throw around

i think theres a place for both casual and comp players in splatoon and nintendo should do a better job at catering to both at once. i am not quite sure what the solution is, a different queue or limiting certain features to ranked. flow aura is rlly rlly cool for me but i can see how others hate it

Unrelated but in a similar vein, I actually haven't felt safe engaging or participating in the community for a bit over a year now due to bigotry. I know some communities have it worse but it used to be better, we used to be better and as a Trans Woman I don't feel its worth the mental stress

The only thing I will say: I could not do what TOs do for Splatoon. Volunteering your own time with the risk of being harassed and/or discriminated against is mind boggling to me. I don’t know how they do it but when they do leave, as we have seen many great people leave, I understand why.

I genuinely fail to see what the Splat Safety response actually serves other than just stoking the fire for the victim. I'm not saying it's a completely dogshit response but in terms of ethics it's not the best. Gem hasn't been an active member for a year and I think the law should take care of it.
