Unrelated but in a similar vein, I actually haven't felt safe engaging or participating in the community for a bit over a year now due to bigotry. I know some communities have it worse but it used to be better, we used to be better and as a Trans Woman I don't feel its worth the mental stress

The only thing I will say: I could not do what TOs do for Splatoon. Volunteering your own time with the risk of being harassed and/or discriminated against is mind boggling to me. I don’t know how they do it but when they do leave, as we have seen many great people leave, I understand why.

I genuinely fail to see what the Splat Safety response actually serves other than just stoking the fire for the victim. I'm not saying it's a completely dogshit response but in terms of ethics it's not the best. Gem hasn't been an active member for a year and I think the law should take care of it.

Just finished Deltarune chapter 3 w/secret boss, not the best chapter imo but really really good it felt like an ENA sequence, one thing im sad about is I got locked out of the egg because I did the secret boss before going to the area for the egg and I think that's not super good game design imo

I think it sets a terrible precedent if people can be banned again after serving their time and showing integrity and growth. It encourages people to not seek growth as individuals because no matter what you do, what you did or have done will always be a motive for a ban without appeal.
