Washington Square just now. Streets are empty and silent, just beautiful. Thank goodness my band mates all made it back to MA before the snow.

Had a great time at 30A Songwriters Festival, and got to meet and hear the great Don Dixon (center) who produced 2 of my favorite albums (REM). Also got to say hi to Shawn Mullins, he and I did a show together in LA in 1994 in front of 20 people, and he remembered me! He did a fantastic set.

Just saw a spectacular version of Arthur Miller’s “All My Sons” in London, with a truly great cast headed up by Bryan Cranston. Devastating play, a full on Greek tragedy. And so relevant to today’s world.

FINALLY saw "Oh Mary," in London, and Oh. My. God. it's funny and SO completely out there. The star, Mason Alexander Park was just phenomenal. As Rick said, they're kind of a combo of Pee Wee Herman, Mel Brooks and Martin Short. Anyone seen it?

Got to hang with my old friend Suzanne Vega at the Lennon tribute, she and I met in 1979 when we were both students at Barnard and someone put us on a music bill together. She was already a fully formed, brilliant artist who had written some of her best songs (like Gypsy).

I am sorry, my flight to Detroit is hopelessly delayed because of the weather and I will not be able to make my show at The Ark - Ann Arbor tonight. We will be rescheduling and I’ll let you know as soon as I have the new date.

Such a joy to sing and hang with my old friend @shawn_colvin at the John Lennon tribute in NYC. I met Shawn in 1980 at Folk City and I’ve been singing with her ever since. We sang “If I Fell” and “Working Class Hero” as duets with a fantastic band, and singing with Shawn is just the best.

Saw a fantastic production of Richard II last night, stunning set and lighting and just a spectacular performance by Michael Urie, who is such a star IMO. Amazing how much they all did with a very small stage and minimal set. A king surrounded by “flatterers”, sound familiar?
