A rainbow katydid (Vestria sp.) from the Ecuadorian Amazon advertises its bad taste to predators with bright colors. I love the red "socks" and the blue lips (someone clearly has a blue slushy addiction). When provoked, it deploys its chemical defense and releases a very bitter smell.
