i achieved my goal time of 28:3x in katamari damacy in a massive way! jumped straight from a 28:56, moving me from 9th to 5th in da world. done speedrunning this game for now :)

sometimes it's difficult balancing two jobs, but nubby's number factory is such a great work environment that i always feel fulfilled after clocking out of a long shift

i always feel so weird on my birthday. i imagine this will only get worse deeper into my 20s, and then get better once i'm like 32 and resigned to not being ultra youthful

i got a handful of 3x3 rubik's cube solves in the 23-27 second range today - abt 7 seconds faster than my averages were last month. i haven't learned many new algorithms so my base speed/recognition are just improving steadily. mostly, i'm happy i have the free time/mental energy to cube a bit again

my current goal in video games is to get a 28:3x speedrun in katamari damacy reroll (and, secondarily, a 3:1x in the level Make a Star 8). i think i can get this within a few sessions of attempts. after that i will be refocusing my video game energy to smash 3ds single player world records
