Our volunteers have supported 201 children in Years 1-3 with their reading. One says: “I think it's v important that L2L2R isn't just about learning to read, but about learning to love to read. I enjoy the time I spend with children I read with and enjoy celebrating the progress that they've made.”

We had the pleasure of hosting a very special author at Heathmere Primary School with the utterly inspiring author, women's and refugee rights activist Onjali Rauf. Parents, children and staff learnt why she wrote her first book 'The Boy at the Back of the Class.' A morning never to forget!
