When I realised that the name of this creature was literally just the chemical name for salt I fell out of my chair.

There is a town in Sicily called "Biancavilla" which shares its name with how "Masara Town / Pallet Town" is called in the Italian localization of Pokémon games. Looking it up in Wplace didn't disappoint.
