Someone told me that they enjoy the "patient intelligence" of my albums. I guess that is something I hadn't considered before but I suppose they are right. I write about big ideas, conceptual stories, where each song analyses one part of an event or idea and...

I think one of the main problems we have is that so many people lack basic morals, ethics or critical thinking skills. We overestimate people all the time and make assumptions that everyone is equipped to deal with complex issues by some kind of osmosis.

I have certain expectations of people who call me a friend. Sometimes I, and the other people find out what those are in the moment. Sometimes it is just understood.

All these moves to protect kids from social media... Perhaps we might one day realise, just like alcohol and nicotine... it is bad for everyone.

I've had a really difficult, tiring day today. On the drive home I was thinking how lucky I am to have people who I've known since the beginning of my music journey (why I'm on social media) and who have stood by me, supported and been encouraging throughout. Thank you everyone. New people too!
