Filling my brain with inspiring art based on winter landscapes ❄️ I am working on an illustrated calendar (more info on that soon), and the first few spreads are based in winter. I’m trying to push past the reflex of painting snow *white* and instead using purples, pinks, oranges, yellows and blues.

Something I don't see creatives talk about so much is the crushing letdown and depression that can follow finishing up a huge project that has consumed you. Like you are suddenly cut adrift with no purpose. Got to reach for a lifeboat. That next thing...
