Massive effort by Southampton Labour today in Shirley by-election to get James Clark elected and to stop Reform.

Sarah Vaughan Tory Councillor for Sholing in Southampton has defected to Reform. @reformexposed.bsky.social After appearing at the far right asylum hotel protest and making anti immigration statements in the council she seems to have found her natural home.

Mass Labour canvass on the last Saturday in Shirley for the last weekend before the by-election next Thursday. Vote for James Clark on Thursday 26th February and stop Reform.

Reform not on the side of working people.

We have another by election in Shirley Southampton after the Lib Dem elected 15 months ago is resigning and moving to Malaysia. This will cost Southampton City Council thousands of pounds. Disgraceful.

Very happy that Millbrook and Redbridge communities are to get £20 million from the Labour government. Local Reform UK party and local Conservative councillors have refused to welcome extra cash. Shameful.

At counter protest against far right today with anti fascist numbering over 200. The far right demo turned up later but still only half our number. Guy with megaphone shouted that they had our photos and when Reform get in they are coming for us. Nice to know they believe in free speech.
