Working on a Book Bingo assignment and a kid asked me to sign off on a couple of squares. One of them was “A book set in the future”, which was Hunger Games. Me: We sure it’s set in the future? S: Its supposed to be Me: *gestures to the general surroundings* S: Fair point… Me: I’ll still sign it

As someone who grew up during the East Coast/West Coast heyday of rap beef…1) I hope this doesn’t end with either camp getting violent but 2) holy hell is this a master class in pettiness (yes I know it’s only Father’s Day weekend but it’s still funny as hell)

Today’s “other duties as assigned” have included: helping several students update their passwords and log back into the system due to a district wide update over break, opening a water bottle for someone and critiquing a students “rizz game” when his request for a “date” went awry.

I would just like it noted for the permanent record that today 11/29/24 baby girl made a request (for a furry leopard print mini bag) while we were shopping and I said no. She would appreciate your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. 🙄 #dadstrong
