春の訪れ～凛とした姿と優しい香りに心が和む水仙は、ナルシシズム（自己愛）の語源の、川の神の息子の美少年ナルキッソス（以下、ナル）に由来するギリシャ神話があります🌿 ナルは、多くの女性や自然の精霊・女神エコーから慕われるも、池に映った自分の姿に見惚れ続けて誰も愛しませんでした。 エコーは愛するナルに振り向いて貰えずに痩せ細り、終には声だけの存在になってしまいました。 女神ネメシスはエコーを哀れみ、水面に映る己の姿に恋する呪いの報復をナルに仕掛け、その場を離れられずに衰弱死を迎えた後に咲いたのが水仙の花～ ゆえに水仙は水面を覗き込むように下を向き咲く花姿～美しさと切ない物語を秘めています🍃
