I'm thinking about how important it is to have a strategic plan, and even more important to share that plan with your constituents. In a large org, even good decisions can be met with severe distrust if that plan isn't made available and referred to often. You still won't get full buy-in, but...

Imagine a book where both sides of an argument are convinced the book has been written about the other side. LOL Equality and Justice vs Freedom and Liberty still seems to be the sticking point. It's easy to see how each can be the barrier to the other depending on the starting point.

If the government wanted to do something to foundationally shift the buying power of Americans, it would create legislation to require home loans structured with simple interest. Almost nothing we've seen will have a greater affect on lifetime wealth for low-income people than mortgage interest.

It feels like we're ripping the band-aid off an economy that has been on the edge for a long time. MMT was a heck of a drug, but with the country led by folks who don't think money is fungible we eventually had to pick a lane. The correction may be tough but necessary, hindsight will let us know!

The ACA did some good, some bad, some really bad. I'm not sure that 'saving it' is the right idea. Coming up with something better is a GREAT idea. I don't think you get the insane valuations we have of health insurance companies without the ACA, and I think most people are not fans of those co's.
