At Teotihuacan, a major Mesoamerican city, we’ll be using our new database of avian proteins (
doi.org/10.21203/rs....
) to identify fragmented bones and eggshells and reconstruct the role of wild and domesticated birds in the subsistence strategies of the city’s residents.
