So that's it. Files are in, ARCs for the final Citadel of Souls series book have gone out, and that's the third series done! I am now ploughing on with Faerie Universe series 4, which is apparently going to be even more enchantingly chaotic than the first three 😇

I have toiled and my everything hurts, but I have finally finished pre-ARC edits! Someone pat me on the head or something 😭 so that means eARCs are going out tomorrow and I will be in hiding until the verdict is in...

When you have the basic cover design for the next set of books picked out and aligned with the stories (and with each other), but you can't show anyone because spoilers 😫 (concept art in the image rather than actual cover) #Faerie4

I remember reading Lasher as a teenager and how he could be semi-controlled by music, and i realised I'm basically the same because if you put The Veronicas Untouched or one of those mash ups with the three songs at once, I basically turn into the Kraken from Transylvania 3 😳

When your books have literally been plotting their entire lineage right from the beginning and YOU HAD NO IDEA. It was always meant to happen this way 😳

Sleep eludes me, but I have a prologue l, 500 words of book one, and somehow about 10k words of book three, or maybe book 2. The flu continues to plague my equilibrium. Shopping arrives at midday. I think I may need a lie down.

My last hour: OMG this is amazing! ARGH PLOT HOLE This is stupid. This is the most natural thing I've ever done! I have flu, is that why this sounds good? Why can't it be finished so I can share it! Don't share it yet, it'll spoil it. My head hurts. Oooh PLOT TWIST.

Almost forgot to post a plant update from yesterday - I grew things! The tomatoes have been beleaguered by rain and need to ripen on the window sill (I hope), but potatos! And I didn't take a pic of the lettuce. Just carrots and some late cucumbers now so fingers crossed for one more stint of sun 😊

Got me thinking as I sat next to a lady on the train going home yesterday and she instantly started chatting to me, so I suppose at least I look safe, and maybe that's not the worst flex in the world 🤷‍♀️

Faerie Universe artwork to date - the dancing scene needs to be changed to Demi and Taz, and I think I'll get a different version of Molly and Talie from the first book, and then maybe Kainen and Reyan and the sock 😳 it's nice to be able to make art of the world though as well as write it ☺️
