Derelict sites update…! Our West Midlands Fire Service freedom of information request has landed. The situation is far worse than expected. Since 2021, there have been 28 fire service callouts across 4 derelict sites in the Bradford Street area, placing a huge strain on resources and public safety

70% of wheelchair users said pavement parking was a regular problem, forcing them into the road. London can ban pavement parking; why can't the rest of the country? There seems to be widespread support for it; for example, 78% of Daily Express readers back a ban. Let's do it.

Something's afoot at the SK Building - there's now round the clock security with sniffer dogs and a portaloo (the security guard asked to not be photographed). It's not clear who's paying. Sadly, the falling wooden panels that started this saga off continue to fall and pose a hazard to pedestrians.

We hit our '500 bags collected' milestone after today's litter pick 👏! We still hope one day these litter picks aren't needed, but until then we'll do our bit 🚮
