I just tried out NVIDIA's Parakeet transcription model (via MacWhisper) and HOLY CRAP! A 1h24m WAV file transcribed in just 26 seconds on an M4 Mac mini with 16GB RAM. đ€Ż

Really wish that the MLB app had a "go live" button for when you're streaming audio. It's annoying to have to switch to the other team's feed and back again because you took a quick phone call and now find yourself behind on the game.

I installed the Fair Package Manager (@fairpm) on my personal site last night. I'm excited to say it worked flawlessly. A couple of plugins were updated from Fastly's servers, & a paid plugin updated from its servers as normal. I'm excited to see what else comes from this interesting development.
