Marching Band competitions are *no joke*. It’s like a carnival out here.

I spent the day laughing thru tears with my family, as today marks one year since my Dad passed from cancer. Grief comes in waves but I know he would love that we still laugh when we tell his stories and remember him. He was quite simply the best man I ever knew.

I cut most of my hair off today and feel like a new person. It’s amazing. It was so much hair.

My baby made a beautiful pecan pie.

I feel like my motto these past few weeks has been “I’ll figure it out.” I’ve said it to basically everything that’s been asked. When it rains it pours, right? 🥴 Sun has to shine again, right? Right?

I made a lot of salsa today. It smells so good in my house.

Went to the Powell Gardens butterfly exhibit today and spent some time touching grass and seeing bugs.
