Roy Cross, doyen of Airfix box artists, reached 100 and passed away this year. As a tribute to his influence on thousand of model making kids (and adults) we decided to make some models in the shape of his artworks. Help! Trying to remember the title of a children’s book I read back in the day. It involves kids on holiday in big old house, legends of dragons (or “worms”), finding old midwinter Mummers play costumes, and eventually the dragon revealed as an ancient earthwork in the landscape by snow. Any ideas?
