In 'The Lucky Dimer Caper starring Donald Duck' on the Master System, in the later Egypt levels there are little treasure rooms that sometimes contain extra lives. You can continually re-enter the same room and rack up as many lives as you want, even though the game only shows you as having 9.

I can still remember that to get infinite lives in Manic Miner on the ZX Spectrum, you need to type 25 POKE 35136,0 MERGE "": RUN To load the game

I am doing a sizeable update of the UK Games Composers website which is giving me very vibes of my first data entry job circa 2004

This game is so great. Absolutely one of my favourites from last year. A lot of people on here are citing the "x-com but a puzzle" gameplay, but honestly it's these adorable/ridiculous goofs being completely out of their depth trying to stop an international conflict is why it's genius
