I made another one with two ice textures using the default baked mask render options and o also did a quick tree stump.

Finally figured out how to do PBR masking in UCUPaint (powerful but confusing) which is now so much easier than doing a full material nodes setup and you can bake it easily for Godot! Layer 1 is moss PBR with a manually painted mask over layer 2 the rock PBR. #blender #ucupaint

My character for my game was ahead of its time.

Testing more Blender -> Godot workflows. 1) Mark assets in a blender file 2) Store in your asset library 3) Stamp them once 4) ALT+D linked duplicate, then scatter with rotate, scale, move. 4) GLTF export 5) Godot import GLB which detects only 3 meshes due to linked duplicates. Yah!

Godot/Blender Workflow 2 - Doors & Fans are imported from Blender with auto-tagging and then I create inherited scenes from the import so I can add additional nodes for Detection, Animation and Sound, plus scripts for the logic and signal wiring. #godot #blender #gamedev

Finally put some stuff together in Godot. Blender environment (-col)+ basic projection spotlights with baked GI probes + one keyframed animated dynamic light using + fixed overhead smooth camera controller + my robot with run and jump animations targeted. Phew.

On my game Gemini Rising Dreams game in the final cutscene, Nephrendil created this entire palace section, redid the entire environment around, added extra lighting, detailing on the floors and walls, pillars, etc. — the whole nine yards. She’s just amazing. Time we get her on PC!

It’s been 2 years since I launched my 5-7h indie game “Gemini Rising” on Dreams. What a ride that was. It’s still getting some likes here and there.

Kind of eventually starting to like this whole remesh thing. I'm using the free PolyQuilt plugin and it works great. When I'm done I'm doing the rigging and then I can attach the various animations in Godot. It's very slow going for me.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is just so addictive. I just can’t stop playing. The atmosphere is wonderful, the switching between Red and Antea for combat, the ghost haunting cases, the extras like nests and collectibles all feel so satisfying, at least for me. youtu.be/r4BmHuygrmg?...
