Bluesky’s AT protocol could theoretically be spun out differently to create safe spaces with controls for friend and family connections, groups, and a lot of other features that only Facebook currently provides in one package.

I wonder if a developer could use the AT protocol, or even just existing features on Bluesky, to create an alternative to Facebook. I’m surprised that hasn’t happened yet.
