I added 20 stats, count them up whenever the player fixes an anomaly & if all 20 stats have the value 1 - an achievement is unlocked. Yay! But then I added a stat to count the achievement progress ("You fixed 5 of 20"). And #GodotSteam just won't count this damn stat up 😭 #gamedev #godotengine

Could somebody explain how to create Steam achievements that count up? Like you have to find all 20 anomalies before the achievement is unlocked, but you can check how many you already got. Do I have to combine achievements with statistics here? Is this possible at all? #gamedev #Godot #Steam

Looks like after I upgraded my NAS to 1TB SSD last year, I forgot to allocate the new space. That's why my docker containers ran into "Too few space disk" although I have 800GB free space 🤦

I've got my new favourite way for your computer to get hacked. The web page adds command to your clipboard (Copy) and then tries to get you to run the command on your computer under the guise of Human Verification.

Episode 5 of the #20_games_challenge is completed. I made a multiplayer Tetris game with the #godot multiplayer API. It's actually quite simple to use. At least it works on my local machine. I didn't test it remotely because I don't have any friends. #gamedev #indiegame #godotengine #tetris

Marketing sucks for gamedevs. Keeping track of all the mails I sent to content creators is hard, so I wrote a tool to send & log these. I can even add variables which are replaced in the mail texts. Small docker, only runs on my local machine. Gets the job done, I guess 💪 #gamedev #indiegames

Dev Challenge: Implement a farming sim clock interface within 1 day. Features: Time, date, season, year. Text will turn red at 1:00 am, like in Stardew Valley. Finding the day of the week (Mon, Tue, ...) for given date, season and year was the hardest part. #gamedev #indiegames #godotengine

Pulled the trigger and bought Fruitbus on Switch 2. Unfortunately it doesn't look good :/ Such a beautiful game & story but the graphics are low and rough. Everytime you move just a little, lots of objects (like bushes, trees) are rendered. It's just too noisy. I hope there will be a Switch 2 Update

Vector2 exports aren't that complicated but somehow I never got familiar with these 😅 That's why I prefer an enum export with UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT. @export var direction: Direction2D.Directions #gamedev #godotengine
