I don't think it is overkill to say that there is literally no one who won't benefit from Shabana Mahmood being removed from any position of power. Hell, it'd even benefit Starmer, who I don't think deserves to benefit from anything, and I still think it's the right thing to do ASAP.

If you choose to pursue a 'gender critical' lifestyle, you will lose most of your family and friends. You will make new friends but all you'll have in common is being ostracised by everyone you used to care about.

This, for me, is one of the big problems with modern politicians. Many don't stand for any ideals, philosophies or constituencies they want to help. It is only about finding the banner most likely to keep them in a job. i.e. all the Tories to Reform and now these potential Labour flitters.
