Cassian Andor is my favourite character today. Since I was 10, Wedge Antilles was, and still is, my favourite: the character I grew up with and a wonderful one. But Andor, Cassian’s backstory, is exceptional: his complexity, everything he’s gone through,and who he is even when he’s lost in season 1.

Sorry for the lack of political posts lately. This year has been brutal for my eye health and chronic pain. I’ve mostly been in survival mode with near-daily hospital visits and patient advocacy. I’m not better yet, but I’m starting to get back into healthcare politics and I hope to post more again.

Go watch #Andor! Clearly the show of the year, as @variety.com says, and in my opinion, perhaps the show of the decade. Variety sums it up perfectly: ordinary people, so complete and human, making political movements work, even if history won’t remember them.
