I just shipped something exciting. wp-cli + WordPress Playground now work together in the browser! https://playground.wordpress.net/demos/wp-cli.html Basic commands seems to work and you can even search and install plugins!

You can now run wp-cli in terminal with Playground's WebAssembly PHP! npx @php-wasm/cli wp-cli.phar user list I only tested a few basic commands so far and they all worked. I’m sure there’s many limitations, though. Please report any issues at

Playground Blueprints make it *really* easy to setup sites. The WordPress + GPT builder you saw on #StateOfTheWord took me and @artpi a day to build. Make GPT build a Blueprint.json file, paste it in the URL, done. A year ago that wasn’t even imaginable.

It’s really heartwarming to see all the great #StateOfTheWord comments about Playground — thank you all so much! I couldn’t post on the YT chat, but I was there reading :-)
