Sooooo have not been on top of things lately. Spend a couple weeks behind and it takes forever to catch up all of a sudden! 😩 This year has by far been my busiest year across so many initiatives, definitely need to cut down or do some personal quarterly management 🫠

Just finished Rejection by @tonytula.com Very raw and unfiltered, ultra millennial and raised-on-the-internet take on identity and sexual self ego. Loved the first few short stories but felt a bit dragged in the second half. I personally love that it exists and it had great prose and variety.

Doing backlog book reviews. This one was a re-read, and very interesting to revisit after a year in my current role. I missed all the contextualizing of business plans with her examples (particularly looking back at Elastic and NGINX) and the licensing forewarnings. Great primer for a founder or PM.

Forgot to take a photo during but today's Borderlands SciFi book club meet was Childhood's End. A very disjointed story with an interesting premise, but falls off after the reveal of Karellen. It's almost hilariously pro-colonial by how the Overlords are framed as saviours. Fever dream ending.
