"Chen Enzo Junfeng..." Wufeng slowly nodded as he remembered the name, brows furrowed- "I'll try my best to get along but if he calls me lazy once about this, I get to ditch." He huffed, not exactly a fan of teachers or atleast his previous teachers never really understood his condition.

"...okay, I appreciate that." Wufeng sighed, nodding, "I need to get better with it anyways." He crossed his arms, still feeling defensive but he's glad she isn't shaming him or anything. "Have you eaten dinner yet?" He asked, once again wanting to show gratitude to her.

Write down their names... Wufeng nodded slowly and laid them on the table, staring at each one— He did try. He really did. But when he tried to write the characters of the kids' names, it looked worse.

"I did no such thing." Wufeng huffed, pausing and glancing over as he presented the plate of cabbage rolls, "Are you hungry, general? I made extras." "Oh, and here," The crow boy held out a few scrolls, "Some kids are fans of yours. They made drawings of you and wanted to show you."

"Got it." Wufeng nodded and watched her go, checking the book and looking more at the pictures. He hummed, moving to get ready to go out again but making sure to not ruin his new clothes this time. ... Some time later, Wufeng hummed as he came back early and began to make some cabbage rolls.

Wufeng nodded and thought about it before thinking of the kids, "You can hand it over to one of my friends. They actually like stories like that." If not him, other kids can learn how to read and write on their own. It'll save their lives for sure.

"Then why are you reading it?" Wufeng asked, leaning in curiously to look at the cover, "Huh... I wonder what the thought process behind it is like." He chuckled.

The crow was perched on the seat now, staring at the book that she was reading, "So...that's it? You're here alone?" He huffed, looking at her now directly—poking, prodding... There's something lonesome with how he's curled up like that, still where he sat. "...what are you reading about?"

...how lonely this house feels and even moreso when he stared at the general, remembering her fierceness earlier and his motherly way of treating him. Elis sighed and nodded, "...we did eat a lot." He looked around, moving to sit near, "You don't have any servants here? Just you and your family?"

"Hey, I'm not a terrible cook! I can make some really good spring rolls." Wufeng huffed, walking off, "...who else lives here, anyways? I'll make extras, it's like uhh...payment for the ramen." He's gonna work the hell out of things if possible. He'd seriously rather not feel like he owes someone.

"Oh, uhh..." Elis looked over, feeling a little awkward before asking, "...can I make some food in the kitchen?" He looked around, "If you don't mind. I'm not really that tired and I don't really like not doing anything sooo..." Cooking. Flying. Seeking out his friends to tell them he's not dead.

Wufeng looked at the general, relaxing a little at the touch before wincing— That is a bump. He didn't have that before. "...uhhh, so what training do we do now?" He asked, pushing her hand away and smiling awkwardly.

It took around twenty minutes until the crow finally stepped out of the bathroom. He smiled, drying himself off with a big towel and after finding the clothes, he got dressed as well. Looking around, Elis began to head downstairs, off to find the general... "Hey." He found her, "I'm uhh, done."

"Nope!" He called back down after finding the bathroom, having an idea of how the bath works. After stripping down and stretching, he got to cleaning himself up. Getting rid of dust, grime, and dirt built up, the crow finally felt a helluva lot better. Elis groaned, finding the soaps and shampoos.

"Hey, hey, I got it." Elis complained like the kid he is, walking on inside and gazing around again in awe. He, in fact, didn't get it as he stood there for a moment, lost. "Oh, uhh, okay." He nodded at Yingzi's words, glancing at the staircase and then back at the general.

And immediately, Wufeng grew overwhelmed, stopping by the entrance as he stared in awe at the grand structures. ...it's quiet, yes, and even peaceful. Hell, the air is even clearer and he could see how well-maintained the space is. No dog shit, no trash, no tossed food that he'd pick up and eat.
