Malina Douglas has THREE flash CNF essays in issue 3. Read this sneak peek of her essay, "After the Umbrella" to prepare for issue 3's launch. Malina is inspired by the encounters that shape us. In 2023 she was awarded first place in the Oxford Flash Fiction Prize.
