I don’t have it in me to participate in Thursday writer memes and I’m not sure how active I’ll be beyond posting chapter updates for a little while. I’m still planning to release bi-weekly, but I have so much stress & burnout & being ‘online’ contributes to the issue, so I need to take a step back.

I’m gonna be working to try to get as much done as possible of the manuscript for a web novel I started this time last year, Through The Dark, if not complete it. The goal is to eventually self publish, but working on it as a web novel is keeping me on task. #FirstDraftFall

Absolutely. If it’s something the character is doing for a living or even hobbies they have, unless you’re wanting to drive home that they’re a newb or trainee, it’s best to have at least a basic understanding of what the job entails. Especially if it’s an important part of the narrative.

I’ll be taking time on this off week to re-read/catch up on the works of two friends that have given their time to TTD. I’d love to share them here as I go. One has done a number of lovely f/f original stories. The other is an ATLA OC focused story. Chapter 7 will be coming on the 7th of October.

Writing with my feet in the water gave me a 20% mental buff but now I am eternally sleepy. Writing at home is one thing, but nothing feels more appropriate when writing about plant people than to write about them while in nature.

Need to write a lesbian romance about an angel who emotionally doms her grumpy, subby girlfriend into making better life choices and taking better care of herself.
