My journal entry of 9-23-89: Attended the flag-burning at the Blue Gallery (a long-defunct art/performance space, in Portland, Ore.) tonight. (3-10-26 -- I went to the event with my friend Roman, who made a now-lost Pixelvision film. Nirvana had performed there 6-10-89. I didn't see them, alas.)
