Alright fellow divers. I’m stuck. How do I write an extended and fairly important scuba scene without resorting to the divers having comms (because no one dives with comms). I was thinking of using dive signals and subtitles but it feels like a stretch. Any ideas? Examples I could follow? Etc?

I’m officially beginning work on my first script in a very long time. A trio dive an off shore shipwreck. When one of them is injured they return to the boat only to find their boat is dead and their EPIRB is missing. With their situation becoming dire they must find a way to survive.

On Taylor Sheridan again, I have no real clue about the man himself but his shows (Lioness and Landman) feel almost Verhoeven-esque. It’s like they lean so far right it’s to the point of parody.
