The dog is at that age where he is growing bumps and lumps on his body (non-cancerous, we get them checked) and I just noticed a new one appeared over his right eyebrow…so I’ve started calling him “Aaron Neville” He doesn’t appreciate that.

The house across the street from us is getting a new roof put on. Coincidentally I’ve learned that the dog is absolutely terrified by the sound of: nail guns and/or hammering. He’s shaking like a little chihuahua.

I was just dumping piles of clean laundry on to my bed and for a split second I was totally convinced I was the size of a cat and almost crawled into the center of the pile and curled my little fluffy tail around myself to take a nap. I didn’t though.

A group of my coworkers, after having a lovely discussion about all the excitement currently happening in the basketball fandom, asked me what I did this weekend. Apparently saying that I made 3lbs of pasta salad and then crocheting for 2 days straight was not the answer they were expecting.

Yesterday was National Cheese Day and no one told me. I still ate cheese yesterday but just in a normal way, not a celebratory way. There should be a new BandAid song but instead of “Do They Know It’s Christmas” it should be “Does He Know It’s National Cheese Day?” Because no, no he did not. :(

The biggest, fattest fly swooped in the door as the dog was getting hooked up outside this morning. The fly, who decided that it is my constant and devoted companion, has followed me into my office.

Why am I always dreaming about the bathroom? Either I’m looking for a bathroom, finding one & then not being able to use it for some reason, or I find one & I use it & then there’s no toilet paper or won’t flush or something is generally wrong. Am I just subconsciously filled with bathroom anxiety?
