Today, the @ihrp.bsky.social filed a request with the IACHR against Canada to protect Indigenous communities of the Great Lakes threatened by Enbridge's Line 5, an aged pipeline that poses an imminent risk of a catastrophic oil spill. Canada must act and decommission the pipeline.

Today, the IHRP submitted a complaint alleging that goods imported to Canada from Alabama carry a risk of forced and prison labour. The complaint calls on the CBSA to investigate identified imports and enforce the national ban on forced labour and prison labour imports.
