Some scenes,like his fascination with his mentally unstable aunt and an erotic encounter with a geriatric neighbor, feel unnecessary and awkward. #🎬

#TheHoldovers impresses with standout performances by #PaulGiamatti, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, & Dominic Sessa.The early 70s setting is sharply captured. Giamatti’s brashness and sharp language make his character both memorable and comedic.Every scene feels purposeful w/ no filler, making it compelling.

#Anora stands out thanks to Mikey Madison’s lead performance, balancing humor with unexpected twists. The goofy side characters are a highlight, though the #film feels slightly long. #Eidelstein is wonderfully dislikable as the co-lead. Some scenes felt too raunchy, but overall, it’s worth a watch.
