Pending – Chapter One Part One: Connections Mornings were Nell’s favorite shift. She’d come in around the time Colton finished filling up the bakery, clocking in right before he clocked out and sharing a wave or a nod but not words. Colton didn’t talk much ever, and Nell didn’t talk much during her first couple hours awake, so that was fine.
