Good news: I finally managed to force the game to show me at least one version of the "romanced, but didn't stay together after the final battle" Halsin reunion at the epilogue party...by making Rina go with Karlach and Wyll to Avernus. 😂🥹

On the bright side, while experimenting with different options trying to get other versions of the epilogue to trigger, I got to see some different romance dialogue from Halsin...gosh, I love him. 🥹💚

Also, I never got the option to ask Lae'zel about the githyanki egg at the party and I'm so bummed because I really, really wanted the ending where she raises it. I'm also a bit disappointed by how little she has to say at the party if you convince her to stay in Faerûn. :/

Reloaded my post-Netherbrain save to see how some of the different choices play out at the reunion party (like convincing Lae'zel to stay in Faerûn and choosing not to go with Halsin when he leaves) but the epilogue keeps bugging out and acting like Halsin and I stayed together when we didn't. 😭

It took more than six months and just over 210 hours, but I finally finished Baldur's Gate 3! 🎉 Even though I've been looking forward to seeing how it would end and being able to move on and play other things at last, now that it's actually over I'm feeling a bit melancholy and bereft.
