A good haul in the moth trap last night @sarah-gis.bsky.social common/lesser rustic, yellowtail, lesser broad bordered yellow underwing, riband wave, July high flyer, willow beauty and our first hawk moth, a Poplar hawk moth.

Interesting haul of moths today, possible scarce footman, two double square spots, one that looks suspiciously like a triple-spotted clay, a beautiful buff ermine and a worn shaded broad bar (I think?) @sarah-gis.bsky.social

A slightly more confusing mix today. Garden carpet which is ok, then possible Freyer's pug, and then mottled rather than willow beauty.

Male Muslin Moth in the trap this morning. A little bit early for flight time but pretty clear cut. He was the only moth in the trap from last night.
