Not taking shots at anyone involved with the Eagles roster or organization but I’m genuinely curious what everyone thinks as to why Mike McDaniel chose a far less talented Chargers offense to coach over a vastly superior Eagles offense? I have my own thoughts but curious what you guys think.

Being that the Eagles interviewed Bobby Slowik for the OC job, I think it’s fair to bring up his tenure in Houston & why he was let go.. Unfortunately for him, it wasn’t because he was a bad offensive mind or playcaller… it was because CJ Stroud couldn’t handle being coached hard or take criticism.

How Brian Daboll associated offenses have fared in the NFL. Someone else hire him before this org makes a mistake. His offenses have also always somehow ranked under Siriannis in motion rate, particularly motion snap%. Gross!

I’m cool with trading AJ at this point to be honest with all of ya’ll. I love him & he was my favorite WR in the league even before he was an Eagle but the drama & ego is absurd and only hurts the team.. With the Meyers extension & Hunter taking a step forth for the Jags, bring me BTJ for 2026.

A Charlie Weis hire would have me sit up in my chair real quick. I would love an experienced NFL player caller but Charlie Weis would be THE college guy imo.

I’ve watched one WR so far but man… If Makai Lemon is the consensus WR3 in this class then the other two guys better be Thor & Zeus because whew boy, Lemon is GOOD. Huge fan!

Man I gotta say. I would not blame Herbert one bit for requesting a trade. He has taken an absolute beating every single year of his career thus far. At some point those off-seasons don’t become long enough to fully heal you anymore.

For me, the answer at OC is Todd Monken assuming he doesn’t follow Harbaugh wherever he goes. He’s a hand in glove fit for this offense & what they desperately want to be.

I love AJ Brown & it’s so easy to understand why he’s disappointed with his role & usage in the offense but mannnn… The constant bitching, drama, & then not coming down with the play when it’s time was infuriating this year. Not sure the juice is worth the squeeze atp.

Honestly I’m not even excited about this personnel next year. Mostly C and Ds for the offense and that includes the high priced guys we have. A new OC would possibly help but I think this window might be done and Howie might need to be very aggressive to make some moves this offseason

Another huge problem & I’ve had this problem for years, is that the Eagles personnel rarely matches the type of team they want to be. They clearly, all season wanted to be a 12/13/21P running team but yet were sending out Calcaterra & Granson routinely. Has to be more connect between Howie & coaches

Being able to lock into draft season a bit earlier this year. Beyond excited, especially with how many picks the Birds are going to have this season. Lets go!

Coaching is the biggest problem with the Eagles but you’re absolutely lying to yourself if you say the QB play was up to the standard it needed to be this season. Jalen was downright awful for large stretches of this entire season and was one of many factors of this offense being terrible.

Tyler Steen picking up the exchange pressure there kept their season alive. Huge shoutout to Goedert but doesn’t happen without Steen!

This offense really just plays to get by. They have all year so none of us should be surprised at all but it’s just insane. Most expensive offense in the league and they can’t even consistently move the ball against the worst defense left in the dance without their two best players lol.

HC sucks, OC sucks, OL sucks, QB sucks, star WR isn’t the same, TE can’t block anymore… this offense makes me want to claw my face off.

Just get this offense off the field

This offense makes me curse far more than I would like to in my life.
