We are a band of chipmunk wranglers. Ollie brought one in today and promptly released it. It went tearing through the house screaming its chipmunk profanities as I ran around closing doors to keep it contained. Penny finally caught it. I put her outside, she dropped it, and it ran. I hate this game.

There's a gorgeous raven (Edgar) who comes to the house every day for an egg. Penny has learned when I shout, "Edgar's here!" to go running to the middle of the yard and look up for him. He's amazing when he soars over the house with his wings fully expanded. He announces his presence loudly. 🐦‍⬛🐕
