We didn't have a set of encyclopedias (20), and, though I certainly had a boombox (9), I don't remember carrying it on my shoulder. So, 1.5 points?

As of today, since Oct 1, federal employees have received 1 partial paycheck and missed 2 full paychecks. I am one of those employees.

This is us 20 (!) years ago today, right after we eloped. We stopped for a celebratory drink after the courthouse. He was getting ready to deploy and wanted to make sure I had rights and protection in case something happened. What a ride it's been. ♥️

For the #TerrierTuesday theme #ChangingTimes, I submit Penny. It took her 2 times to pass her daycare interview because of nerves, but she rallied and became Camper of the Month within a few short months and is now their go-to for interview assistance because she is so gentle with new dogs.

I'm on day 34 of being furloughed. After the first 2 weeks I knew I had to find something to do. I'm now a volunteer with our local humane society. I've been doing dishes and laundry most days. Waiting for the Kitty Academy class later this month so I can pet/socialize all the cats! 1/2
