The Michigan House of Representatives passed my bipartisan legislation to make hearing aids for children more affordable. No child deserves to live with untreated hearing loss, especially when we have the tools to make their lives and learning easier.

Last week I testified in the Higher Education Committee on the State’s investment in student scholarships. As we transition from old and outdated small scholarships, we are able to offer more funding to our flagship Michigan Achievement Scholarship, providing students with up to $5,500 every year.

Many schools in MI also offer tuition free education to students with income thresholds, make sure to fill out the FAFSA for award eligibility.
