Thinking about driving to San Diego in Sept for our cruise. Taking the EV. Now that the teen can drive it will be easier and far cheaper than flying. And we can swing by and pick up @thatbootlegguy.bsky.social and summon the raccoons before hitting a Padres game.

There will be a day that I remember I store my cast iron skillet in the oven when I turn it on to preheat. Today is still not that day.

My love language is no longer food, however, for my birthday my daughter gave me jelly donuts, and my husband gave me Cadbury eggs and Mountain Dew and those were home runs. The last time I had donuts or Cadbury eggs was a year ago but they’re my favorites.

I started reading Virginia Giuffre’s book and am only 9 chapters in and it’s horrific. And the Epstein stuff didn’t start until chapter 8.

My 17yo bought me 2 raspberry filled donuts for my bday which honestly was the most thoughtful gift. I honestly can barely eat donuts anymore but at one point in my life they were my favorite & I’ll finish them both in the next couple days.

Because I have shitty lungs and live at elevation I have to be on overnight oxygen moving forward. It was delivered today and he was about to walk out & I’m like “do I get a cannula and tubing, or…?” And he was like oh, do you need it? No I’ll just plug in the machine and hope that it blows to me.

Pro tip - don’t take your multi vitamin on an empty stomach. You will puke up your breakfast soon after you finish it. But, if you’re a pro like me you’ll still get out the door on time and grab a protein bar on the way.

Tuesdays are my Monday so a little perk like that made up for the fact that it’s raining and I’ve never bothered to put an umbrella in my new car (I do have 2 lotions, 4 hand sanitizers, 2 chapsticks, 3 pens, 2 boxes of Kleenex and deodorant however)

My husband spent a ridiculous amount of money on a Brock Faber jersey for me for Xmas 2024 and quite honestly I don’t think I ever want to wear it again. I was going to go to the Wild vs Avs game tomorrow but something came up & I’m so glad.

I successfully negotiated down our Xfinity and SiriusXM bills today saving $100 a month. I hate doing this stuff but I love my money more.
