Started the day with the CRUK 10k run and ended it with the Pretty Muddy 5k, which was absolutely brilliant fun 🤩 #EduRunners

Longest run to date last night. Felt hungover and tired and hot and didn’t want to go out…but I did and I walked a bit. But managed to get to 12km 💪 #EduRunners

So, did my fastest 5k at #parkrun on Saturday and just got another PB tonight! 💪 Really wasn’t in the mood to run, too hot etc but did it anyway! 🤩 #Edurunners

A very muggy 23 degrees this morning, so volunteered at #parkrun instead of running today. Will go out later, when it’s cooler, to get my exercise done for the day 💪 Scanned the barcode of lots of people I follow on Strava now, so nice to put a name to a face! #EduRunners

Convinced my daughter to start couch 25k, so we just did W1R1. When I think back to Dec 28th and how hard I found running for 60 seconds! 😩 Look at the difference in my heart rate between then and now! 😍 Daughter found it easy & doesn’t know what I was moaning about 5 months ago! 😂 #EduRunners

I donated blood this week and got an email today to confirm what I already knew, than I’m O negative. 🅾️ This is often considered the universal blood type as it can be given to anyone in an emergency situation. The NHS now have a priority booking system to get us in to donate more easily! 💪

My first ever #parkrun today! 💪 Route was way more hilly than I expected, which was explained in the first timers briefing! 😂 Saw a dad and ex-pupil from my school too. The boy came back to high five me after he’d finished and I was still at the 4km mark 🤩 No PB for my 5k but fun! #EduRunners

Interesting gender split at my blood donation appointment today. Out of the 12 or so people who had an appointment at the same time as me, there was only ONE man! 😳 So, men…time to step it up! You get a nice sticker to give to your kids too, who’ll be super proud of you 😍

Survived my first run with the running club 💪 Was a 5k run, with a few walking breaks and (whispers it)…the pace was so slow! 😂 Going to move up a group next month, which will be slightly faster and longer and probably fewer, if any, breaks. 🤩 #EduRunners

Day 3 and 4 of my ILM executive coaching qualification with the British School of Coaching 💪 Loving learning about the theory behind coaching but just cringe so much when we have to role play and coach one another whilst being observed! 😩 Maybe I’m not cut out for this! 🥹 #Coaching

I think @heymrshallahan.bsky.social is LEGIT TRYING TO KILL ME with this insane interval run! 10 min warm up jog 200m sprint 90 sec recovery 200m sprint 80 sec recovery etc The last 200m with 30 sec recovery nearly finished me off 🤮 but the sweet, sweet relief of the cool down jog 😍 #EduRunners

My dad was in a serious accident about 25 years ago. He was air lifted to hospital and given dozens of pints of blood whilst he was in intensive care. Without blood donors, he would have died. Particularly those of you, like me, who are O negative, please consider donating 🙏🏻❤️

Daughter off to Comic Con today dressed as Giyu from Demon Slayer. Seems a prerequisite for all primary school teachers to be able to use face paints, so I dusted off my brushes and got cracking on the Demon Slayer mark 💪 Would be a great WBD outfit, but they don’t dress up at her school!
