Welcome back everyone after the February holidays! We’re looking forward to seeing all our pupils back in school today. It was a busy in-service day for the staff team yesterday with training, moderation and a focus on our School Improvement priorities.

A few photos from yesterday’s Arabic story session — our first of the year! 📚 Mrs Kalaji will visit weekly, alternating P4–7 and P1–3, to share stories in Arabic. When pupils heard the sessions were starting again, they were delighted! Yesterday’s story, The Dragon’s Tears, got a big thumbs up 👍

🐠 P4a and P4b had a FIN-tastic time at Deep Sea World last week! From walking through the shark tunnel to spotting seahorses and rays, the pupils were HOOKED from start to finish. 🎣 So many jaw-some facts learned and a great day was had by all! 🌊💙

Our @knightswoodprimary.bsky.social Peer Mediator Fun Finder team met today to discuss how things are going+to swap duties! So, I thought it only fitting to post some of the fun we've had so far in term 2, thanks to our new team ❤️ and thanks again to our YLL team as well for their great idea!

We kicked off the month with a brilliant surprise, a visit from Grado and the team from Heart Radio! They were here to officially open our NEW school grotto! This space helps make the countdown to Christmas even more special. There may be a very important visitor stopping by in a fortnight.

One of our fantastic pupils took part in the Glasgow Autumn 2025 event organised by the UK Cube Association, the home of British Speedcubing and completed a Rubik’s Cube in an incredible 1.338 seconds.

Yesterday, our whole school took part in the two-minute silence to mark Remembrance Day. We paused together to reflect and remember those who have served and continue to serve. ❤️ #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget
