Howzit Gatwick. That was barely an hour. Ryanair cop a lot of flack but they actually have been more often than not very adequate.

Managed to get to the airport in one piece and in good time and am now fully boarded. Stomach's a bit jippy but I might try and have a nap as we fly. We will be in Gatwick by 9am. The gods bless this vessel and all who fly within.

I have a taxi booked for 5:15 in the morning to get me to the airport. Considering the fact that I'm also bound for Brighton, all I can think of right now is The Who's "5:15" from the album Quadrophenia, so the coincidence isn't lost on me. Time to slumber, methinks.

Sending solidarity and love to those who are still held in bondage to the world of international money movement/financial technology customer support over the next few days. The Black Friday/Cyber Monday period and the aftermath coaxes some utter rotters out of the woodwork.

London was mostly very much fun. Got to see Moon Safari and they blew the head off me. Got to meet up with the prog brethren and one of the Belfast lads overseas, also got to meet up with the wonderful Alty who I have known donkeys years and her partner Sam as well. I'll be flying back around 11.

Fuckton of Queenslanders staying at the same place as me. Solid humans to a man/woman. Likeably abrupt. No malice. Refreshing, tbh.

It's actually outrageously good to be back in London again. All my visits here have sparked incredible joy. Seeing Moon Safari tomorrow will be very amazing and very special. Sound. Very good. VERY NICE.
