My gecko is recovering steadily after surgery. I can finally feel a little relieved for now.🦎

Every time I tell myself I’m done taking commissions, life immediately slaps me in the face and sends me right back to drawing commissions again.🫵

I took my crested gecko to the vet today, and she was diagnosed with follicular stasis. Since there’s no insurance, the treatment will be quite expensive. But thanks to the support of my friends and commissioners, I was able to receive enough commissions to cover the surgery costs.🙏

People sometimes ask me how I get the look in my illustrations, but I don’t really know how to explain it. I mostly just draw by instinct, my brain just goes “this looks better(?)” and I follow that.

Just finished my second watch of Zootopia 2. As someone who keeps reptiles, a few scenes (messy shedding, regurgitation, low temps…) really stressed me out lol. Hope more people understand how cute ectothermic animals truly are. 🥺

When I finish a drawing, I usually ask my friends for their opinions, because spending too much time on a single piece can make it hard to see the problems myself.

Drawing isn’t a means of making a living for me—it’s simply a passion I can’t let go of. But ever since I started working, I’ve had less and less time for it. My finances and my hobby are no longer in balance, and improving my skills has become difficult.

Bought new snake, corn palmetto baby🐍

I got my first ball python last week. He is a super sweet banana pied boi, and he was imported from the USA to Japan on October 11th. I've heard there might be a risk of snake mites or eggs during the import stage, which makes me very worried. 🤦
