I don't like seeing how some people treat short stories, like they're only good for being a learning ground before they 'graduate' to novels. They are very different mediums. Yes, writers can learn a lot from them, but to me, it's very obvious who takes them seriously as an artform unto themselves.

This is the power of reading. There are studies that show that, when reading, your brain actively models whatever the character is going through. Another reason to read more! It helps our brain grow. #books
