Wife took part in a half marathon today. Ran it like a champ. Meanwhile I took a walk round the nearby reservoir with Skye. Absolutely gorgeous views!

Local supermarket was doing clearance on limited edition Ben & Jerries. Got a flavour for each of the family! I feel a movie night is coming soon 🤣

We are back streaming this week! I had to take another week off to recover from my Greek holiday. Big thanks to EasyJet for ruining our return journey! This week will be all about Final Fantasy X! We left things off in the Calm Lands capturing monsters and unlocking some side content!

Greece was great. Being reunited with Skye is better. She's had a great holiday with her grandparents, but i have missed her dearly! 😍

We got left behind in Greece after the plane was overweight. Our holiday provider got us a pretty swanky room for the night. All inclusive so our meals were paid for! I was just glad to have somewhere to sleep and shower! Found an AC unit to keep me company. Time for a layover via Munich!

Been to this place twice now. Gaea in Lindos AquaTerra. Staff are super nice, the food is fantastic and even more surprising... It was kinda cheap compared to the area! Got myself a Beef Sando and fries 🤤

We spent the day in Lindos today. Had a walk up to the acropolis to visit the Temple of Athena. €20 feels like a steep entry price but there's a lot to see up there and the views are just incredible. Shovelled down Chicken Gyros on a roof afterwards. Pretty good scran!

I keep saying to myself that I will take pictures of all the lovely greek food while I am here. But then I forget when it arrives and eat it. So heres a pic of me and my wife's ice cream. I have pistachio and pavlova, she has beuno and biscoff. Top stuff!

Currently in Rhodes, the weather is being a little fickle. The views are still breathtaking though!

Skye has decided to appropriate Sox's cat bed. I think it's revenge for Sox stealing her bed in the bedroom!

Apparently... The beef stew is taking too long. So Skye is sulking in the hallway.

This week over on www.twitch.tv/soraplays_tv we have the finale of Cronos: The New Dawn. Then we start Final Fantasy X! I was meant to do this straight after 9, but we hit the new FFXIV raiding tier so I wanted to put more time into that. Speaking of which... M8s reclear on Sunday!

If anyone is playing the new 40k Dawn of War remaster and you are doing the Soulstorm campaign but are struggling to fight defensive battles to get your wargear... Try cut off a commander and their home region. It'l force a defensive battle every second turn! Just end turn and reap the rewards!

Been AWOL from social media for most of the week. The news in the US/UK is just massively depressing to witness and I am already emotionally tired. Time to rest with my pets and play games. Might finally start that Youtube project and apply for that job that looks interesting!

Just finished watching "Beyond the Bar" on Netflix. A K-drama about lawyers. It really went places I wasn't expecting. Got absolutely pulled into it, the characters were fantastic as well. The season finale wrapped up a lot of things but I NEED a season 2!

Been playing the board game Everdell tonight with my Wife and stepson. Absolutely beautiful game where you take turns building a city of forest critters as the seasons advance. It's absolutely adorable, the card art is gorgeous and in general the game doesn't feel overly competitive. 9/10 for me!

Currently playing some Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War Definitive Edition. It plays like a dream, feels great to play and the updated visuals are really nice! It's £15.99 instead of £23.99 on the steam store if you already have the old anniversary edition as well!

Skye has a shower today. Took a little while to get into it, but seemed to enjoy it 😍

I don't think Skye is impressed with her new bed location in the gym/office. Nor with the fact it has rained for 2 days solid. Nor with the fact I haven't broken out a tasty treat to keep her occupied while I work. On the bright side... My lawn is finally getting a good drink. 😅

Just finished Carnby's playthrough in Alone in the Dark. I think I need to play through Emily's as well. Surely that can't be the "good" ending 😅

Today for something different I restored a piece of artwork I have no idea where it's from! The filename is labeled "Cyber Knight" so maybe it might be a clue. Also no idea who's the artist. Used different sources to fill in bits, taking some liberties, without upscaling.

Sox is committing to zero effort Sundays. He's sleeping that soundly me and Skye had to check if the lad was still breathing. He's just living his best life.

The wife was up at 5am for a long run. Skye was not motivated to go to the toilet at 5am!
